Valentines Dad
We drank some beers today. Got up and had some coffee, got ready to go for a walk. Went down to the local hippie store and got some beers. We were just going to get some beers but we ended up hanging out with the locals and got to chatting and next thing we new we were drinking some beers. Came back to the house and had us a fire outside, drank us some more beers. Cold, and blustery day, the kind of cold that goes to the bones. The sun was out, so as long as one had a toe in the sun, it wasn't that bad and the beers went down good, even though they were darn cold. Didn't end up eating our Valentines brunch till about 4. Boy were we hungry, we has us potatoes, steak and cooked carrots. Very good, we had to take a nap by the fire it was so good and filling. No more beers, moved to water and chocolate. Now it's time for a movie and snuggling. We had us a fine Valentines day. Drinking beers on a cold winter Sunday. We love each other, and that is for certain.

Finding it
Finding it, is it really there? Where is it? Is it in the trees, or the river, could it be in the sky. The space between it all. Is it under a rock or perhaps it's in the crackle of a fire. The gleam of my lovers eyes, or in the voice of my mother. I think it's in my heart as an organ and it resides in the moment. To see it all for the first time each time. Now, is quite a simple yet unexplored territory. Now is endless, timeless, and full of life. The past and the present are just quick illusions that lead us to some other place and then we miss it. An example is getting a message, if you are thinking to much you miss the beauty of the touch. If you are comparing it, you miss it to. If you are judging it, you are also missing it. My favorite space to be is outside, but to really enjoy the outdoor world and any world is to let your thoughts go. To not even speak of the beauty in your head is to really feel it, to be with it. Letting go of the story of you in it, letting go of the mind is to find that space where one truly feels one.
